FAQ
I used this all the time for myself and clients. My only regret is that you cannot change the built in constants. It creates unrealistic expectations in certain scenarios. (May 12, 2010)
I hope ver 1.1 can solve it. No more "Built-in constants". You can edit Assumptions: Expected Return and Volatility. You can select among various Confidence Levels. In the Fund Mode, you can select the Equity/Commodity Ratio and edit Expected Return for Commodities. Each Ratio has a different volatility assigned to it which changes the Risk Scenario in the the Inputs section and that leads to the change in Asset Allocation.

There are certain restrictions, why?
You cannot enter Inputs and Assumptions which would lead to the leveraged portfolio or a portfolio with short positions. Certain limits also prohibit to input TOO unrealistic values. However, these limits are not very strict. The reason is to allow the user to play a lot of different scenarios and to educate herself or her clients.
